The Springs

about the band

The Springs, the New Music Awards "Country New Group of the Year", has played over a 100 shows since June, in Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, and Kentucky. If you see just one of their shows, you'll know! We are looking at expanding the band's fan base in your markets. They have charted several songs on the major Country charts already. They have recorded two CD's in Nashville thus far, and are currently booking Spring and Summer 2011. We feel they will have a major music deal early Spring 2011. The Springs, high energy, "family" Country and Southern Rock shows, and their youth, continually gets them invited back, over and over, to the same venues.

The Springs band was formed by open casting calls, with kids 18 and under, from three states, Alabama, Georgia and Florida, with all of the try-outs being filmed for national television.  Lamar Morris, who was Hank Williams Jr’s lead guitar and band leader of the Bama Band for over 20 years, was chosen to tutor the kids.   Lamar has worked with them ever since, over three years now, passing on his talents to the next generation of artists.  Lamar wrote Hanks first #1, “Eleven Roses”, which won him a BMI songwriting award.  He helped produced The Springs first two CD projects.
